Virtual Chase: Company Information Guide

Intended as a site to assist persons in the legal profession perform business research, this is another good site for links to company information and guide to doing Legal Research.

ABI/INFORM Complete

Business research from journals, trade publications, market research reports, dissertations, and working papers.

Business Link North Carolina

An archival database of older scholarly journals in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. This is a full text database, and contains complete backfiles of core journals starting with first issues, many of which date back to the 1800s. Most titles published within the last 2-5 years are not included.

Canadian Business & Current Affairs Complete (CBCA)

Articles spanning Canadian agriculture, business and economics, education, government and politics, health sciences, history, literature, medical sciences, social sciences, and more, including scholarly content.

Inter-Library Loan - Articles

JCSU does not have the articles you need, you can request it via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Here's what you do:

  1. Go to the library's home page

  2. On the right-hand side of the page, click on "Online Interlibrary Loan Request"

  3. Scroll down to the part of the form that says "Use this section to request a book"

  4. Fill out as much information as you can about the book you need (author, publication date, publisher, ISBN)

  5. Submit the form

Processing time varies, depending on our workload and that of the lending library. Books do tend to take longer than articles; except 1-2 weeks before you get your material.
