This guide was adopted from the APA Formatting Style Guide created by Leecy Barnett at Lynn University.
APA stands for the American Psychological Association, and it provides rules for how to format your paper, cite sources in text, and cite sources in your references list. This guide will introduce you to the most basic rules that you will need to know. For a full list of the rules, consult the Publication Manual of the APA (7th ed.). A copy will be made available at the Center of Information desk for use in the library.
Librarians are always happy to answer your APA citation questions!
